So what makes mohair so special? The fibres come from the Angora goat which has a silky soft curly coat, the hairs are smooth so mohair is not itchy or scratchy.
Mohair is noted for its high luster and sheen which makes the colours so rich. The colour range is huge with brights, pastels and neutrals to suit all interior décor colour schemes.
Your mohair throw blanket can be dry-cleaned or hand washed but do NOT put it in the drier or it will shrink.
Hand wash using a in warm water. Spin out excess water and dry flat on a towel. If the mohair wool pile needs fluffing up brush lightly with a soft hair brush.
